Re: Encounters of the close kind...
You see a young girl walking pass you. "Hello." she said, as she stopped walking.
Re: Encounters of the close kind...
I stopped walking as well and smiled at her. "Hi!" I introduced myself as Jenny, and introduced my Eevee Cirrus as well. "We were just heading out. Were you going somewhere?"

Shrugging a little, Jenny thought about it. "Ilex Forest is my goal," she stated, nodding along the route she was taking. "Cirrus and I have some things to check out."

"My names Amy. I'm a Breeder, I'm headed to the City to visit my Dad." said Amy, smiling.
Re: Encounters of the close kind...
"Well ok Amy," Jenny nodded. "Since I'm headed that way anyways, why don't we travel together?"

"I will love to travel with you." Amy said. "Will you like to see my pokemon?" she then asked.
Re: Encounters of the close kind...
Jenny nodded enthusiastically, picking up Cirrus from her shoulder and setting the Eevee on the ground. "Of course!!"

Re: Encounters of the close kind...
Her eyes bright, Jenny grinned at the Pichu. "He's so cool! And well, you've already met Cirrus..." She motioned to the Eevee, who was squared up on all fours and staring curiously at the little mouse Pokemon. "Hey...would you maybe like to battle?"

Re: Encounters of the close kind...
"Maybe, I guess. Then I guess I'll have to put my egg in a safe place till I'm done battling you." Amy said.
Re: Encounters of the close kind...
Jenny froze, blinking. "Egg? You have an egg?" She tilted her head a little, completely forgetting her prior request to battle. Cirrus' ears perked up a little and she tip-toed forward, sniffing at the air as if trying to get a whiff of the aforementioned egg.

Re: Encounters of the close kind...
"Actually, I have two eggs." Amy said. She opened her pack and took out two pokemon eggs that were in a two seperate glass cases. She took the eggs out of the containers and laid them on top of her pack. "Aren't they wonderful?" she asked Jenny.
Re: Encounters of the close kind...
Eyes wide and sparkling with curiosity, Jenny could only nod. "They're amazing!" She shifted her gaze to the pink egg and took in its features. Remembering back to the minimal research she had already done, her breeder side kicked in and she uttered, "That's a Mime Jr. egg, isn't it?"

Re: Encounters of the close kind...
"Your correct." Amy said. "Will you like to have one?" she asked.
Re: Encounters of the close kind...
Cirrus chirped in delight before Jenny could. "I would!!" She agreed brightly, eyes shifting from the egg she recognized to the one she didn't. It mystified her with its colors...and she'd always liked mysteries.
"May I have the green and white one?" She asked politely, taking the egg carefully in her hands and tracing small patterns on the shell.

Re: Encounters of the close kind...
"Sure, but lets go to the summer house, so you can have a better selection." she said, as she ran up the path.
Re: Encounters of the close kind...
Still holding the egg, Jenny blinked a few more times and exchanged glances with Cirrus. The Eevee did a sort of shrugging motion before turning and bounding off after Amy. Sighing a little, the azure-eyed girl hugged the egg carefully to her chest and followed her Pokemon.

Re: Encounters of the close kind...
On the right side of the path was a small house, with a small building behind it. Amy, Pichu, and Eevee went inside the small building
Re: Encounters of the close kind...
A little miffed and puzzled that her Eevee had taken so quickly to this new girl, Jenny followed through the door of the building and looked around. She quickly drew a breath at what she saw; there were shelves upon shelves of Pokemon eggs, rainbows of colors and patterns that she had never seen before. Being mindful of the green and white egg in her arms, she roamed the lines of shelves and eyed each egg carefully.
One of them was a pattern she had truly never seen before. There was no label to tell her, so she asked, "What kind of egg is this?"

Re: Encounters of the close kind...
"Your egg looks like a Ralt's egg." she said. You saw more eggs and one seemed to be a Eevee egg.
Re: Encounters of the close kind...
Jenny recognized the Eevee egg for sure; she should, after all, she'd had Cirrus since the Pokemon's days as an egg. "I like the orange and blue one," she said after a moment, "and why is this one all cracked?" She was indicating, of course, to the third egg in beside the orange one.

Re: Encounters of the close kind...
Tapping a finger to her chin in thought, Jenny glanced down at the egg in her arms. "I really would like a Ralts, but...I like this one." She said, pointing to the orange and blue egg. "May I have that one instead?"
