This conversation might make someone feel bad, so can we vote on the original topic?

I say yes if it makes sense. Like teaching a Pokemon that have talked in movies to talk (then it's like a legandary), or Articuno's travel in packs, meaning you should be able to catch one. It has to work with the Pokemon lore. Not "Ha ha, I have Ho-ho so now no one else can!". That wouldn't be fun.

Well, there's only one Zapdos, one Mew, ect. Legendaries are catchable, but you'll have to get farther in this game, in order to start finding them. Or until you get all 8 gym badges. Right now, you'll just have to stick with the rare pokemon for now.

You can complete your pokedex by just viewing the legendaries
