The Journey and the Dream- Johto

Zuko finally awoke the next morning after waking up constantly during the night. He was like a kid on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa to come. But now, finally, he woke up when the sun was up and shining through his window. Without hesitating, he got up and put his special trainer clothes on: a yellow and black cap, a red jacket with a little white on it, and yellow and black shorts. They were special clothes bought by his mother for his journey and he awed at himself as he looked in the mirror. He grabbed his bag with a few camping supplies and other things before heading down the stairs.

Zuko's mother and his two younger twin brothers were waiting downstairs for him. Zuko's mother shoved a small device in his hand. It was a PokeGear. Gold knew that this was a small device used as a phone and other things could be installed into it. After a few seconds, Zuko noticed the disappearence of his older brother, Red.

"Hey, where's Red?" asked Zuko.

"He apparantly ran off this morning on his own journey," responded his twin brother, Brady.

"I would keep a lookout for him. He just took off without anyone knowing and mom is really worried," said Zuko's other brother, Matthew.

Zuko nodded and left the home and headed to the lab of the famous Professor Elm. After a few minutes, he arrived at the lab and walked inside. The professor was already waiting for him and immediatly shoved a small pokeball in one hand and a mechanical device in the other.

"Here, this is a beginner pokemon, Totodile," explained the professor pointing at the miniture pokeball. "And this is a pokedex. It will automatically record data on pokemon you have seen or caught. I'm sure it will be very useful on your journey."

Zuko thanked the professor and left the lab. He walked to the edge of town and turned around to take one last look at the town he grew up in. He was finally leaving it to begin his journey. He was ready to become the best and take the crown at the Johto League.
